Pflanzenteile des Flammenbaumes wurden in der Volksheilkunde gegen Blutarmut, Fieber und Malaria eingesetzt

Dieser wunderschöne Zierbaum aus Madagaskar trägt seinen Namen aufgrund seiner flammend roten Blüten.
Die getrockneten Hülsen werden in der kanarischen Volksmusik als Percussion-Instrumente “Maracas” verwendet.

This beautiful ornamental tree from Madagascar is named after its flaming red flowers.  Legends has it is the envy of the Baobab tree 🙂  The dried pods are used as percussion instruments „maracas“ in Canarian folk music.

Este hermoso árbol ornamental de Madagascar recibe su nombre por sus flores de color rojo intenso.  Leyendas a también el causante de la envidia del árbol Baobab 🙂 Las vainas secas se utilizan como instrumentos de percusión „maracas“ en la música folclórica canaria.

Las partes de la planta del árbol de la llama se utilizaban en la medicina popular contra la anemia, la fiebre y la malaria.
