Ernte-Hinweise:  

Wenn einige Blätter sich gelb färben und bevor die grünen Schoten langsam beginnen gelb zu werden ist es Zeit die Bohnen zu ernten. Dafür einfach abpflücken.

  • serviert mit Salz als Snack, als Beilage, in Eintöpfen, Curries,..

Als Edamame (japanisch für „Bohne am Zweig“) werden die unreif geernteten grünen Sojabohnen bezeichnet. Essbar sind die Edamame-Bohnen, jedoch nicht die grünen Schoten. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Hülsenfrüchten und Bohnen benötigt Edamame lediglich um die fünf Minuten zum Garen. Die Edamame Bohnen stellen einen wunderbare pflanzliche Eiweißquelle dar.

Harvesting Guidelines: 

When some leaves turn yellow and before the green pods slowly start to turn yellow, it is time to harvest the beans. Simply pick them off.
